News-Trading Rules
1. Evaluation Phases (Phase 1 & 2):
• There are no restrictions; news trading and news-based strategies are fully allowed.
2. Funded Account:
• Trading is prohibited during a 10-minute window: 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after high-impact news.
• Prohibited execution: manually opening or closing positions, or triggering pending orders, including stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP).
• Penalty: This is treated as a soft breach. Profits generated during the restricted period are deducted, while losses are not reimbursed.
3. Swing-trade exception (48 hours):
• If a position was opened 48 hours or more before the news and its take profit is triggered during the restricted window, the profit will not be deducted and the trade is exempt.
4. Important Notes:
• Positions opened before the event may be held, but triggering SL or TP within the 10-minute window is considered a breach.
• Restrictions apply only to currencies or instruments directly affected by the event (targeted instruments). Other instruments may be traded normally.
Summary:
On the funded account, do not execute or close positions within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news unless the trade has been open for at least 48 hours.
Payout policy for all account types
The first payout is available after 30 days from the first trade on the funded account.
Subsequent payouts are available every 14 days.
You receive 80% of your profits.
There is no minimum payout amount.
Before requesting a payout, all open trades must be closed and all pending orders must be cancelled.
Payout requests are processed within a maximum of one day.
BrightFunded does not charge any additional payout fees.
External fees may be charged by the bank, payment provider, or cryptocurrency network.
Checkout Add-ons
You can add payouts every 14 days.
You can add weekly payouts.
You can add a 90% profit split.
You can add a 100% challenge fee refund with your first payout.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on all accounts.
On standard accounts, swap fees are charged when a position remains open through the daily rollover.
Triple swap is applied to Forex and Commodities on Wednesday, and to Indices on Friday.
A Swap-Free Add-On can be selected at checkout to remove overnight swap charges.
The rollover is applied at approximately 2:00 AM CET and may shift by around one hour due to daylight-saving
time changes.
The daily drawdown percentage varies depending on the account type.
The daily drawdown amount is calculated as a percentage of the original account size.
At the daily reset, the higher of the Balance or Equity is used to determine the drawdown limit for the
following day.
If either the Balance or Equity reaches the daily drawdown limit during the day, the account is considered
breached.
The daily reset takes place approximately between 11:30 PM and 11:59 PM CET.
1-Step:
The overall drawdown is 6% trailing.
It moves in real time with the highest Equity reached on the account.
Once the account reaches 6% above the initial balance, the drawdown stops trailing and becomes fixed at the
initial account balance.
2-Step Bright:
The overall drawdown is 8% static.
It is calculated from the initial account balance and does not move with profits.
2-Step Classic:
The overall drawdown is 10% static.
It is calculated from the initial account balance and does not move with profits.
Eligible paid accounts receive a reward equal to 15% of the profits generated during the evaluation phases.
This reward is not paid immediately after passing the evaluation.
To become eligible, you must first achieve 10% growth on the funded account and receive the applicable
payout.
After that, the 15% reward is added to the balance of a new funded account linked to the same account
series.
You must contact the support team to request the reward after meeting the requirements.
Once the reward is added, it can be withdrawn according to the account's profit split and after the new
payout cycle begins.
How to Scale Your Funded Account Without a Cap
1- Scaling Eligibility Requirements:
Your account is evaluated over 4 consecutive months, and the following requirements must be met:
• Profitability: Record a profit in at least two of the 4 months, with total profit of no less than 10%.
• Payouts: Complete at least two payouts during the evaluation period.
• Account Balance: At the time of the scaling request, the account balance must be at or above the original
capital.
2- Upgrade Benefits:
• Capital Increase: The account size increases by 30% of its original value during each scaling cycle.
• No Cap: You may continue scaling indefinitely as long as the requirements are met.
• First Upgrade: The profit split increases to 90%.
• Second Upgrade: The profit split remains at 90%.
• Third Upgrade and Beyond: The profit split increases to 100%.
3- Important Notes:
• Scaling is not automatic. You must contact the support team and request the upgrade after meeting all
requirements.
• If the requirements are not met within the 4-month period, the evaluation counter resets and a new 4-month
period begins.
Summary:
Achieve 10% profit, complete two payouts within 4 months, and meet the remaining requirements to receive a
30% capital increase, with the ability to continue scaling and eventually reach a 100% profit split.
How to Merge Accounts
1- Account sizes eligible for merging:
Merging is allowed only to reach account sizes officially offered by the firm:
• Two 5K accounts → one 10K funded account.
• Two 25K accounts → one 50K funded account.
• Two 50K accounts → one 100K funded account.
• Two 100K accounts → one 200K funded account.
(Note: Two 10K accounts cannot be merged because the firm does not offer a 20K account.)
2- Basic Eligibility Requirements:
• Funded Stage Only: Merging is available exclusively for accounts that have reached the funded stage.
• Matching Features: Both accounts must have identical Add-Ons, trading platform, and Voucher.
• Clean Accounts: The merge must be requested before the funded accounts are issued for the first time or
after receiving a payout, and no trade may have been placed on either account at the time of the merge
request.
3- Important Notes:
• A maximum of two accounts may be merged at one time.
• The merge is final and cannot be reversed or split into separate accounts later.
Summary:
Make sure your funded accounts are clean and identical in Add-Ons, platform, and Voucher, then request a
merge to reach a larger account size officially supported by the firm.
If the account remains without any trade for 30 calendar days, it will be automatically deactivated.
You can request account reactivation by contacting support.
If 6 months pass without requesting reactivation, the account may be considered a hard breach.
If there is an open trade, the account remains active, and the inactivity period starts after the trade is
closed.
A trade must remain open for at least 60 seconds to reset the inactivity period.

The process typically requires proof of identity and proof of address.
Accepted documents may vary depending on the trader's country of residence.
After KYC approval, the account undergoes a routine Security Check by BrightFunded's Risk Team.
The Security Check usually takes 1–2 business days and may take up to 4 business days during high-volume

Once approved, the Trader Contract is sent automatically. After signing it, the funded account is activated
automatically.

• Responsibility: The firm is not responsible for technical errors, execution failures, or unexpected
behavior caused by your EA.
• Recommendation: Thoroughly test the EA and confirm that it is compatible with the platform environment
before relying on it.
4- Monitoring and Risk:
• Although an EA executes trades automatically, it must be monitored continuously to ensure it performs as
expected and does not expose the account to unmanaged risk.
Summary:
EAs are allowed, except on DXtrade, but you remain fully responsible for monitoring the EA and complying
with all risk-management rules.
Each person is allowed to have only one BrightFunded profile.
Multiple accounts and challenges can be purchased and held under the same profile.
Creating multiple profiles for the same person may lead to account suspension or closure, payout
ineligibility, and may result in a permanent ban from BrightFunded services.
There is no limit to the number of challenges you can purchase.
The maximum total active funded allocation is $400,000 per trader.
If you pass a new account and activating it would cause your total funded allocation to exceed $400,000, the
new account will be placed on hold.
The held account can be activated later once your total active funded allocation drops to a level that
allows it.
