Trading during high-impact news events is
allowed. However, profits generated during
these periods are subject to a profit cap
for each payout cycle.
News Trading Profit Cap:
The maximum eligible news trading profit
is 0.5% of the account's starting balance
per payout cycle.
When Does This Rule Apply?
The rule applies to trades opened or closed
within 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after
high-impact (Red Folder) news events.
It also includes FOMC speeches, statements,
announcements, and related events.
Official Economic Calendars:
AquaFunded uses Forex Factory and Myfxbook
to identify high-impact news events
and their scheduled times.
How Are News Profits Calculated?
Profits generated during news events
are tracked separately for each payout cycle.
You retain eligible profits up to 0.5%
of the account's starting balance.
Any profits exceeding this cap are removed.
Exceeding the cap does not result in
an account violation or termination.
Only the excess profits are deducted.
Example:
Account size: $100,000.
News profit cap: $500.
Profit generated during news: $1,000.
$500 of the news profits is retained,
while the remaining $500 is removed.
The retained profit remains subject to
the applicable profit split at payout.
Effective Date:
The 0.5% news profit cap applies
to trading accounts opened after
April 27, 2026.
Accounts Purchased Before April 27, 2026:
These accounts remain subject to the
previous news trading rules.
High-impact news trading is restricted
on funded accounts within 5 minutes
before and after the news event.
All profits generated from trades
falling within this restricted window
are removed without an account violation.
This policy applies to 1-Step Standard
and Flex, as well as 2-Step Standard,
Pro, and Elite accounts after passing
the evaluation and becoming funded.

to each payout cycle, based on
the initial account balance.
Example: A $100,000 account has

before applying the profit split.
Any profits exceeding this cap
will be deducted from the account

AquaFunded offers a payout processing
guarantee of 24 business hours
for approved reward requests.
Official Guarantee:
If an approved payout is not
processed within 24 business hours,
AquaFunded promises to add
an extra $1,000 under
its Reward Guarantee.
Guarantee Time Calculation:
The guarantee applies once
the payout request is approved.
Payouts are processed on business days,
and the guarantee timer is paused
during weekends.
The company's business week begins
on Monday at 9:00 AM and ends
on Friday at 5:00 PM, Dubai time.
Important:
This guarantee covers the processing
time of an approved payout request,
not the time required for the funds
to reach a bank account or wallet.
Actual receipt times may vary
depending on the payment method
and payment provider processing times.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on all accounts.
The daily drawdown limit is recalculated
every day at 00:00 UTC.
Daily drawdown includes realized and
floating losses, as well as trading costs.
Calculation for Challenge Accounts:
This applies to 1-Step Standard and Flex,
and 2-Step Standard, Pro, and Elite.
At the daily reset, AquaFunded uses
the higher of account Balance or Equity.
The applicable daily drawdown percentage
is subtracted from this value to determine
the minimum permitted account value
for the trading day.
Daily Drawdown Percentages:
1-Step Standard: 3%.
1-Step Flex: 3%.
2-Step Standard: 5%.
2-Step Pro: 5%.
2-Step Elite: 4%.
Instant Standard:
This model also uses the higher of
Balance or Equity at 00:00 UTC.
The daily loss limit is calculated
by subtracting 3% of this value.
The resulting limit remains fixed
until the next daily reset.
Example with a 3% Daily Drawdown:
Account balance: $100,000.
Equity at reset: $102,000.
Reference value: $102,000.
Daily loss allowance: $3,060.
Daily loss threshold: $98,940.
Example with a Floating Loss:
If the balance is $100,000 and equity
is $98,000 at the daily reset,
the higher balance of $100,000 is used.
The daily loss threshold becomes
$97,000, leaving only $1,000
of remaining floating loss allowance.
Instant Pro and Instant Flex:
Instant Pro: 3% daily drawdown.
Instant Flex: 2% daily drawdown.
Daily drawdown is calculated at
00:00 UTC using account balance or equity.
According to the official examples,
a new $100,000 account starts with
a daily loss threshold of $97,000
for Instant Pro and $98,000
for Instant Flex.
Important:
The daily drawdown limit must be
respected throughout the trading day,
including floating losses
on open positions.
Breaching the daily limit results
in account termination.
Traders must also comply with
maximum drawdown limits and any
additional model-specific risk rules.
Maximum drawdown is calculated
differently depending on the account
model, using either static
or trailing drawdown.
Static Drawdown:
The maximum loss limit is calculated
from the initial account balance.
This limit remains fixed regardless
of how much profit the account generates.
1-Step Flex:
12% static maximum drawdown.
For a $100,000 account,
the loss threshold is $88,000.
2-Step Standard:
8% static maximum drawdown.
For a $100,000 account,
the loss threshold is $92,000.
2-Step Elite:
12% static maximum drawdown.
For a $100,000 account,
the loss threshold is $88,000.
Trailing Drawdown:
The maximum loss threshold moves
upward as the account reaches
higher reference values.
The calculation and update method
depend on the account model.
1-Step Standard:
6% trailing maximum drawdown.
The threshold follows the highest
recorded Balance or Equity.
On a $100,000 account, if the
reference value reaches $108,000,
the loss threshold becomes $102,000.
The threshold continues moving
upward with new highs and does
not stop at the initial balance.
2-Step Pro:
10% trailing maximum drawdown.
The threshold follows increases
in Balance or Equity according
to the platform's calculation.
On a $100,000 account, if the
reference value reaches $105,000,
the loss threshold becomes $95,000.
If the account later drops
to $103,000, the threshold
remains at $95,000.
If it subsequently reaches
$108,000, the threshold
increases to $98,000.
Instant Standard:
5% trailing maximum drawdown.
The threshold is updated daily
at 00:00 UTC.
AquaFunded uses the higher of
Balance or Equity at the reset
and subtracts 5% of the
initial account balance.
Example for a $100,000 account:
Initial loss threshold: $95,000.
If the higher value at the daily
reset is $103,000,
the threshold becomes $98,000.
Once raised, it never moves down.
Further increases occur only when
a future daily reset produces
a higher threshold.
Instant Pro:
6% trailing maximum drawdown.
The threshold is based on the
highest recorded Equity,
including floating profits,
rather than closed Balance alone.
According to the official example,
if Equity on a $100,000 account
reaches $105,000,
the threshold becomes $99,000.
A subsequent decline in Equity
does not lower the threshold.
Instant Flex:
4% trailing maximum drawdown.
The threshold follows the highest
recorded Equity, including
unrealized profits.
If Equity on a $100,000 account
reaches $105,000,
the threshold becomes $100,800.
If Equity later declines
to $103,000, the threshold
remains at $100,800.
The threshold only moves higher
when a new Equity peak is reached.
Important:
Maximum drawdown monitoring includes
realized and unrealized profits
and losses, commissions,
and applicable trading costs.
The maximum loss limit must be
respected at all times,
including while positions are open.
Breaching the permitted limit
results in account termination.
Daily drawdown and additional
risk management rules also apply.
AquaFunded offers eligible funded traders
the opportunity to increase their account
allocation through its scaling plan.
Scaling Requirements:
Achieve a 12% profit within a 3-month period.
Comply with all trading and risk management rules.
Submit a scaling request to AquaFunded support.
All scaling requests are subject to account
review and company approval.
Scaling is not automatic upon reaching
the required profit target.
Scaling Increase:
Each approved scaling increase adds
25% of the account's initial size.
Example:
Initial account size: $100,000.
Achieve 12% profit within 3 months.
After the first approved scaling:
Account size increases to $125,000.
After qualifying for and receiving
approval for the second scaling:
Account size increases to $150,000.
The scaling process can be repeated
after meeting the requirements
during subsequent 3-month periods.
Each increase is calculated as 25%
of the original account size,
not the newly scaled balance.
Maximum Scaling:
Traders may scale their total allocation
up to $4,000,000,
subject to eligibility requirements
and AquaFunded approval.
Floating loss limits and their
consequences vary by account type.
These rules apply independently
of daily and maximum drawdown limits.
Funded Challenge Accounts:
The Wave Stop rule applies only
after passing the challenge and
receiving a funded account.
It does not apply during
the evaluation phases.
1-Step Standard:
2-Step Standard and Pro:
The Wave Stop limit is 2%
of the account balance.
When the combined floating losses
of open positions reach this limit,
the system automatically closes
all open positions in most cases.
First Strike:
Profit split is reduced to 50%.
Trading may continue after
the positions are closed.
Second Strike:
The funded account is
permanently terminated.
1-Step Flex:
2-Step Elite (Current Rules):
The Wave Stop limit is 1%
of the account balance.
This rule applies only to funded
accounts, not during evaluation.
When the combined floating losses
of open positions reach this limit,
a strike is recorded under
the following system:
First Strike:
Profit split is reduced to 50%.
Second Strike:
Profit split is reduced to 25%.
Third Strike:
The funded account is
permanently terminated.
Instant Funding Accounts:
Instant Funding accounts do not
use the challenge-based Wave Stop
system. Instead, they follow
the floating loss limits and
penalties specific to each program.
Instant Standard:
The maximum floating loss is 1%
of the initial account balance.
The combined floating profit
and loss of all open positions
is taken into account.
First Strike:
Profit split is reduced to 50%.
Second Strike:
Profit split is reduced to 25%.
Third Strike:
The account is permanently terminated.
Instant Pro:
The maximum floating loss is 2%
of the initial account balance.
The combined floating loss
of all open positions
is taken into account.
Reaching this limit results
in immediate and permanent
account termination.
Instant Pro 300K & 400K Exception:
The maximum floating loss limit
is reduced to 1%
of the account balance.
Reaching this limit results
in permanent account termination.
Instant Flex:
The maximum floating loss is 1%
of the initial account balance.
The combined floating profit
and loss of all open positions
is taken into account.
If the combined floating result
reaches a loss of 1% or more,
the account is permanently terminated.
Example:
For an account with an initial
balance of $100,000:
A 1% limit equals $1,000.
A 2% limit equals $2,000.
The applicable reference balance
for each program determines
the actual loss limit.
Floating Loss Calculation:
The floating loss limits above
are calculated based on open
positions according to
each program's rules.
Reaching the loss limit while
positions remain open may
trigger a violation even if
those positions are later closed
at a smaller loss.
Important:
These limits are independent
of daily and maximum drawdown rules.
An account may also be terminated
for violating other risk limits,
even if the floating loss
limit has not been reached.
AquaFunded allows traders to purchase
and trade multiple evaluation accounts
simultaneously.
Funded Account Merging:
Eligible funded accounts can be merged
up to a maximum combined allocation

must be at breakeven.
Accounts are subject to company review
to verify compliance with trading rules
and account merging requirements.
Merging is subject to AquaFunded approval.
Instant Funding Accounts:
Instant funding accounts cannot be merged.
Scaling Plan:
Traders may increase their total allocation
up to $4,000,000 through the scaling plan,
subject to its eligibility requirements.
At least one trade must be placed
every 30 days to keep the account active.
The inactivity period starts
from the date of the first trade
on the account.
If no trade is placed within
a 30-day period, the account
will be considered inactive
and permanently breached.

and switching to a different strategy
on the funded account,

Short-Duration Trading:
Trades held for less than 2 minutes
may be classified as prohibited Tick Scalping.
On funded accounts, profits generated
from such trades may be removed
under the company's trading policies.
Not every trade under 2 minutes
is automatically considered a violation.
Classification depends on the company's
review of the trading activity.

Traders must not use more than 80%
of their available account margin
in a single trade or trading position.
Exceeding this threshold constitutes
a violation regardless of whether
