Maximum Drawdown — AquaFutures
The drawdown model is designed to encourage stable, disciplined trading over the long term.
---
Beginner / Standard / Instant
The drawdown is Trailing End of Day (EOD). It is calculated from the highest end-of-day closing balance reached by the account.
• As the closing balance rises, the drawdown floor rises with it.
• Once the floor reaches the starting balance + $100, it stops trailing and becomes permanently fixed.
---
Example — $25K account with $1,500 drawdown
If the highest closing balance becomes $26,000, the drawdown floor becomes $24,500.
When the floor reaches $25,100, it remains fixed there for the life of the account.
---
Instant Pro
The drawdown is Real-Time Trailing. It follows Equity in real time, including unrealized profit.
Example: on a $25K account with $1,000 drawdown, if an open trade reaches +$250, the drawdown immediately moves with that floating profit.
If the trade later returns to breakeven, the previous floating profit is treated as lost room relative to the drawdown.
Once the drawdown reaches $25,100, it remains permanently fixed for the rest of the account's life.
Scalping — Allowed
Holding a trade for several minutes to target a reasonable number of ticks is allowed. Example: a three-minute trade targeting eight ticks.
---
Microscalping — Prohibited
Opening and closing trades within a few seconds to target tiny fractions of a tick is prohibited. Example: a 12-second trade targeting less than one tick.
AquaFutures considers this an exploitation of simulated execution and idealized fills.
Funded accounts currently cannot be reset.
Evaluation accounts may be reset, giving traders the flexibility to refine their strategy and approach before moving to the funded stage.
Consistency Rule — AquaFutures
The rule measures how much of total profit may come from a single trading day.
---
Evaluation — Beginner Plan
A 40% consistency rule applies. One day's profit may not equal or exceed 40% of total profit.
If it does, you must continue trading until the ratio falls below 40%.
Example: if you earn $1,300 in one day, total profit must reach at least $3,250 to pass.
---
Evaluation — Standard Plan
No consistency rule applies during the evaluation. Passing depends only on the profit target and drawdown rules.
---
Funded Beginner & Standard
A 40% consistency rule applies during each payout cycle. If one day's profit equals or exceeds 40% of cycle profit, payouts are temporarily restricted.
Continue trading until the best-day ratio falls below 40%. This does not breach the account.
---
Instant Funded
A 20% consistency rule applies. One day's profit may not equal or exceed 20% of total profit.
---
Formula
Best profitable day ÷ Total profit
---
If the rule is exceeded
• The account remains active.
• You cannot pass the evaluation or request a payout until the ratio returns within the limit.
---
News-rule violations
Profits generated from prohibited news trades are removed, and consistency is recalculated using eligible profit only. Violating news profit cannot be used to improve the ratio.
AquaFutures prohibits trading within 2% of CME price limits.
The rule is intended to protect traders from market halts, extreme volatility, severe slippage, and forced position closures.
---
What is a Price Limit?
It is the maximum distance a futures contract may move during a session. Reaching the limit may cause a temporary halt or a full suspension, depending on the instrument and session.
---
Large overnight moves of 5% or 7% may trigger a halt. Sharp intraday declines may also halt trading, while strong daytime rallies usually do not.
---
Example
If NQ closes at 19,500 and its movement limit is 5%, the prohibited zone begins 2% before the limit is reached.
---
To avoid a violation, monitor CME Price Limits, watch % Net Change on the platform, and stay outside the final 2% zone.
Overnight holding is not allowed.
Weekend holding is also not allowed.
AquaFutures allows up to three active funded accounts at the same time, including Instant Funded Accounts.
---
If you already have three active funded accounts and pass another evaluation, the new account is placed on hold until one current funded account is breached or closed.
---
Evaluation subscriptions for additional accounts must continue to be paid while they remain in evaluation.
Once an evaluation is passed, the monthly subscription for that successful account stops. An account placed on hold does not require an additional subscription while waiting.
AquaFutures prohibits copy trading between different traders. Every trade must reflect the account owner's own analysis and decisions.
---
Allowed
A Trade Copier may be used only to copy between your own funded AquaFutures accounts, or between your funded AquaFutures accounts and external accounts that you personally own and control.
---
Prohibited
Copying between evaluation accounts is completely prohibited, even when all accounts are in your name, because each evaluation must be passed independently.
---
First violation
If several accounts are passed through copying, only one may be funded and the remaining accounts may be reset.
---
Second violation
Only one account may be funded, the other accounts may be breached, and future funding eligibility may be removed.
---
Other prohibited conduct includes copying another trader, repeatedly placing identical trades at the same time, using identical EA settings with other traders, pass-your-challenge or account-management services, and third-party copy platforms.
Possible consequences include account breach, profit forfeiture, permanent closure, or a platform ban.
A Trade Copier is permitted only for managing your own funded and personal accounts when every decision originates from you.
Prohibited
• Fully automated bots and systems.
• AI that trades independently.
• Continuous 24/7 automated trading.
• High-frequency automated scalping systems, especially those exceeding 200 trades per day.
---
Allowed
Semi-automated trading is allowed only when the trader actively monitors positions and manually intervenes in trade management.
IP, Device and Travel Policy — AquaFutures
Sharing a home connection or device, or traveling, is not automatically a violation, but identity and independent-trading requirements must be followed.
---
Same household / IP
Two people may trade from the same internet connection if each has their own account, payment method, login, and independent trade decisions.
Trading at the same time is allowed, but copied, coordinated, or jointly managed trades are prohibited. Entries, exits, targets, and sizes must be independently determined.
The shared IP may still trigger a flag, so informing support in advance is recommended.
---
Shared devices
A shared device may be used only after informing support. Each person must use their own login, avoid copy trading, and close sessions properly. Shared-device use may lead to additional review when passing or requesting a payout.
Switching between your own phone and computer is allowed.
---
Payments and identity
The payment method must belong to the account holder. Another person may not purchase the account for you. Name, card, ID, and account ownership must match, otherwise the account may be rejected or refunded.
---
Travel and restricted countries
Trading while temporarily visiting a restricted country is allowed, though informing support beforehand is recommended. Final eligibility is determined through KYC based on residence and nationality.
---
VPN / VPS
VPN use is allowed but discouraged unless needed, and it is prohibited during KYC. VPS use is allowed, but major location or IP changes may trigger a risk review.
---
Multiple accounts
Multiple accounts are allowed when all are in your name and independently managed. Each separate trader must have a different email, phone number, and identity.
If no trade is placed for seven days during either the evaluation or funded stage, the account is permanently closed.
AquaFutures requires KYC and AML verification for funded payouts and affiliate-commission withdrawals.
Verification is completed once per user, and only one verified profile is allowed per person.
---
Traders must be at least 18 years old and reside in an eligible country.
---
Proof of Identity
Passport, national ID, or driving licence, together with a matching selfie or live video.
---
Proof of Address
A document dated within the last three months, such as a bank statement, utility bill, lease, card statement, or government letter. If an ID shows the full address it may sometimes be accepted, but proof of address should be different from proof of identity.
---
AML screening includes global sanctions lists, politically exposed persons (PEP), and adverse media.
Some countries are restricted because of sanctions, financial fraud, or partner limitations.
All checks are performed by an external provider, and AquaFutures cannot override that provider's decision.
AquaFutures operates a simulated environment and prohibits methods that exploit simulation conditions or unrealistic execution.
---
Automated trading
Fully automated bots, independent AI, continuous 24/7 systems, and automated high-frequency scalping systems—especially those exceeding 200 trades per day—are prohibited.
Semi-automated tools are allowed only when the trader monitors and manually manages trades.
---
Prohibited market behavior
• Placing multiple orders at the same price to manipulate execution.
• Exploiting thin markets, gaps, or the absence of realistic slippage.
• Trading during prohibited Tier 1 news events.
• Violating CME Group rules.
• Coordinating matching or opposite strategies across accounts.
Activity resembling tick scalping may trigger a profit review and payout denial.
---
Possible consequences include account closure, profit forfeiture, denial of funding after passing, and denial of refunds or compensation.
---
Normal scalping for several minutes and reasonable tick targets is allowed. Microscalping within seconds for fractions of a tick is prohibited.
---
Martingale is allowed only within the account's contract limits, margin limits, and risk-management rules.
